As is typical for the wine industry, looming harvest dates can strain operators to execute on facility upgrades under tight timelines. Nothing gets a winemaker’s nerves firing like brushing up against the first days of crush without a functional winery.
Perhaps the best example of this time crunch is the 2017 buildout of China’s largest winery, Xige. The facility needed to rise from dirt to completion within eight weeks. Quite a task for any vendor, but when combined with the language barrier, VinWizard needed to get creative and work fast.
The article below written in the June/July 2019 edition of NZ Winegrower captures the task at hand. Finished winery images show just how impressive the facility is, with VinWizard serving as the technology bringing it all together.
Should there ever be any doubt of VinWizard’s ability to deliver, the Xige project should put those concerns to rest. Whether its big or small, foreign or domestic, VinWizard can execute under tough circumstances. With Xige setting the example for the growing Chinese wine industry, VinWizard looks forward what lay ahead and how it can help drive innovation in a foreign market.
